| BF Inkjet was founded and incorporated
in 1992 by Max and Wade Bowers. (BF stands for Bowers
Family)
Originally the company was involved in the development
of graphic enhancing surface coatings and in 1993
began development into inkjet coatings for paper
and films.
The companies original products were coated by
contract , but Max and Wade knew they had to have
their own production facility to produce products
of the quality and consistency they were after.
During this same period of time, the opportunity
was recognized to produce inkjet printable canvas
for high quality art reproduction. This new, emerging
market became the driver for the design of the
primary coating machine that began in 1994.
In 1996, the company now fully entrenched in
their current headquarters in Fayetteville, south
of Atlanta, construction of the coater began.
Full Production on this machine began in 1998
and growth and expansion continues today.
Today, BF Inkjet is a fully integrated coater
and converter of many substrates designed for
today’s wide and narrow format inkjet printers.
All R&D is done in-house as is all aspects
of production, converting, quality control, packaging
and shipping.
The focus that BF brought to the fine art materials
market in the mid-90’s continues today with
BF being recognized as the premier quality coater
of artist canvas for inkjet printing. This commitment
to innovation is backed up by patent #5,858,514
issued in 1999 to BF for the application of inkjet
coating to canvas and vinyl substrates.
BF Inkjet is committed to producing consistently,
the highest quality products available backed
up by impeccable customer service and personal
attention to its customers.
